Hello! As of July 1st 2010 I am the new Pastor and Director of Campus Ministry at the Agape House, and I am very excited for the spirit-filled worship and fulfilling activities we will do here! I am also quite pleased by my initial impression of the Agape House: this is a place not only for great music and worship and food, but also, it is a relaxing place for study, contemplation, spiritual exploration and fulfillment. Most importantly, the Agape House is open to everyone searching for a way to live out their faith.
Hey friends, this is your Co-Chair Jacob Laird, thanks for stopping by my page. If you know me, I’m crazy about helping others grow in their faith and helping to spread God’s word. If you don’t know me then you should get involved in our growing ministry and meet great lifetime friends along the way. There is no greater feeling than when you are surrounded by fellow believers who not only want to grow in their own faith but want to help you grow in your faith as well.

Hey there! Thanks for stopping by to check out my page! I am Lacy Clements and a senior here at SDSU. I also encourage you to check out the pages of the other members of our leadership team. We are a strong group and hope to see more faces join our ministry! One of the things I love the most is seeing other people fall in love with Christ and find their place here at the Agape House.
I have been attending the Agape House for two years now. My first year of college was spent at Black Hills State University. There was no campus ministry to be found there. A couple bible study groups but nothing like the Agape House. From my first visit, I felt welcomed and a part of the ministry. After deciding to transfer to SDSU, and before I had taken a single class here, I was invited to join the leadership team. I was placed as the Communication Coordinator and served there for my first year and a half here. Now that I’m Co-Chair, I plan to take what I have learned and help this ministry grow even more! My job is to work with my Co-Chair in: leading meetings, helping organize and run events, keeping the communication line open for coordinators and any other students, stay in contact with our Campus Director, and even maintaining a link to our local church, Brookings First United Methodist Church.
When people ask where I’m from, I try to keep the answer simple with, “My mom lives in Sturgis and my dad lives in Tilford (a kind of suburb of Piedmont).” The extended version is that I was born in Ansbach, Germany and then moved back to the states. I’ve lived in Oklahoma, Colorado, and a few different towns in South Dakota, all West River. The longest place I’ve lived is in the house my dad still owns in Tilford. I love the Hills and miss them. I also miss the weather over there, but Brookings is growing on me a little. I live off campus but enjoy meeting people on campus to chat or have a cup of coffee, or both!
Hopefully you’ve enjoyed your experience at the Agape House, or if you’re planning on attending, that you feel welcomed and enjoy your time there. Our team works hard to welcome and invite people and to plan events that are fun and enjoyable. If you have any questions, want to chat for a little bit, or anything, you can call me at 605-206-0852 or email me at clements08@hotmail.com
If I don’t answer right away, I will get back to you as soon as I possibly can!
In God’s Love,
Lacy K. Clements

Hi! My name is Erica Houska and I'm the communication coordinator here at the Agape House. I'm also a sophomore this year at SDSU in the Pre-Vet program with a major in animal science and an equine minor, since I hope to have a specialty in equine medicine once I'm actually a vet!
To let you know a little more about me, I'm from Sioux Falls, SD. Here at campus, I'm involved with the Agape House, which I absolutely love. I'm also involved with the pre-vet club, intramural sports (especially soccer), and hanging out with friends. Off campus, I work at the Brookings Regional Humane Society a couple days of the week and I observe surgeries there, since I'm a pre-vet kid!!
I was first introduced to this ministry when I was still a senior in high school. I came up to Brookings to check out the school and hang out with friends who were involved with the ministry. When I went to the Agape House, I felt extremely welcome almost right away! It felt like something I really wanted to be a part of when I was a student at SDSU, and now I am! The worship on Wednesday nights felt like a perfect fit for my personality and I feel like the Agape has really helped me grow in my faith, among many other things! It gives me a sense of motivation, relaxation, and energy to get through the rest of the week. I also enjoy hanging out with all of the people who come! I couldn't imagine going throughout college without the support of God and my Agape family. :)
As a communication coordinator, my job is to keep the website updated, make newsletters, make posters and signs, ensure cards get signed, and getting information to the campus pastor! If you ever want to get a hold of me, feel free to text or call me at 605-366-4390 or to email me at erica.houska@jacks.sdstate.edu.
God Bless!!
Erica Houska

My name is Megan and I am currently a junior at SDSU. I am from Rapid City, SD and love to be outdoors and play music. I am a co-worship coordinator at the Agape House. This is my first semester of trying it out, and I am already loving it. One of my favorite things about a worship service is the music! I play the piano in the worship band on Wednesday nights. It's when I feel closest to God.

Hi! I'm Jared Ribstein and I'm the second half of the Worship Coordinator team here at United Faith Campus Ministry. I am a sophomore at SDSU. I am majoring in Sociology with a Human Services specialization. I'm from a little town called Harrisburg, just south of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. I love playing and listening to music, it's a huge part of my life. I play guitar in the worship band but also enjoy playing the mandolin. Playing for the praise of God is a huge part of my own personal worship. I love to use my gifts for the God that gave them to me.
Thanks!
Jared
Hello all :)

I'm Chris Ragels and I am a senior this year at SDSU. I am a double major in both Nursing and Dietetics. I absolutly love my majors and classes and know I will never be disappointed in the choice I made. I have been going to the Agape house for about 3 years now on and off and am officially going on a regular basis. It is just an amazing place to go for both a friend filled place as well as an amazing place to reconnect with my spiritual life. It took a long time but I feel complete every week after worship to get that nice little boost of spiritual healing and to fill my faith back to normal after a busy week of school and work. I am a huge fan of jazz and big band music as well as living my life according the PJ creed of the Air Force. I am a very open and outgoing person and if there is ever a question you have just ask.

Hey! I am Adam Juba and I am the Co-Wellness Coordinator here at the AGAPE. I am a Sophomore and am Majoring in Mathematics with a Teaching Specialization. I LOVE to help people with anything and everything, which is why I have a job at the Native American Cultural Center as a Math tutor :) My favorite sport to play is soccer, but I will do pretty much anything athletic. When it's nice out we always have a little basketball game going at the house, so come on over and join! I also love to drink coffee and solve math problems ;) The AGAPE gives me a nice atmosphere as a place to worship and even to just hang out with friends. If you would like any help with Math or you have any ideas or you just want to talk, please feel free to contact me with my jacks e-mail! adam.juba@jacks.sdstate.edu
